Financial Aid
Parish Scholarships: Students whose family is registered and active at Christ the King Church may apply for a parish scholarship based on financial need. Applications for the program may be requested from the school office. All requests for parish financial tuition assistance must be submitted by April 1, 2008. Eligibility and awards are determined by a Private School Aid Service. This process, using a third party, provides objectivity, professionalism and consistency in the process. Moreover, confidentiality and anonymity is achieved with an outside agency evaluation. Processing fee: $16.50 per family. This year, the processing fee will be paid by a generous parishioner.
Members of other Catholic parishes may apply to their own parish for assistance if they have the need.
VT SOS: Vermont Student Opportunity Scholarship Fund (VT SOS) is a privately funded school scholarship program for Vermont children from kindergarten to 8th grade. Contact CKS Office for official application and eligibility guidelines. Grants of up to $2,000 are available. Deadline for application is April 1, 2008.
Current and new students of CKS must register by April 1, 2008 to be assured of a place. The offering of teacher contracts and the number of sections for each grade level will be based on the enrollment at that time. Some class enrollments may be closed at that date.
Note: All tuition and fees must be paid prior to the end of each semester. Failure to do so may result in withholding the student’s report card and no records will be transferred out of the school. In addition, failure to have made a good faith effort to arrange for payment of outstanding tuition may prevent the student from participating in co-curricular activities such as sports, drama, field trips, etc. Reminders for payment will be sent home prior to the activity.
