Christ the King

Hello!
My name is Luisa Knowles. I am looking forward to my third year as the Middle School French Teacher at Christ the King. I learned my French at school in the United States and I studied in Paris, France. Teaching a foreign language provides me with an opportunity to enable my students to discover the world beyond our borders. Hopefully my students will be empowered to use their French with many of our French Canadian neighbors that come to spend time in Vermont and pursue their French studies in the future.

My students know that I work hard to have a FRENCH ONLY classroom. When FRENCH ONLY is spoken in class students are challenged to express themselves in the target language. French is all around us. I hope this summer you will take a moment to make note of where you have found some French and share it with us when re reconvene in the fall!
