Spiritual Life
Prayer Services: Prayer services at Christ the King School are held at the end of the month in our school gym. Each month a different class is responsible for planning and presenting the service. The December service is traditionally held in the church and is planned by our eighth grade students and presented by them along with our kindergartens. Parents and other family members as well as members of our Parish community are always welcome to join us at these uplifting services.
At the conclusion of each prayer service, the Grade One through Grade eight teachers present their Student of the Month awards. Recognition as a student of the month is based on any number of criteria such as: improved academic performance; academic excellence; improvement in behavior; good citizenship; being a positive, Christian role model; or displaying a respectful, kind, caring, helpful, and/or compassionate attitude.

In addition to these individual class projects, our whole school community undertakes several projects such as those that benefit our local community food shelves and our servicemen and women stationed overseas.
